Originally founded in 1989 by Wendy Ollas and Patricia Martin, The Asociacion Benéfica de Teulada shop has expanded so rapidly that they have moved premises, once in 1995 and then again in 2005. The new shop continues to flourish and has gradually built up a wider clientele, with more of the Spanish community taking up the opportunity to browse the store's many bargains.

Asociacion Benefica de Teulada is manned by volunteers, in the main British, and all monies raised goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the Red Cross Ambulance situated on the N332 at the Benissa/Gata/Teulada T Junction.

Money is raised by selling goods in the shop either by donation or on a commission basis. Fund raising events are also organised. Over the last few years, the shop has helped purchase new ambulances, a car for the station, and following the successful fashion show in October 2007 we raised 3,500 Euros. These funds went toward equipping the new ambulance with medical equipment etc. Click here to see our up and coming Fundraiser's. Please come along and support us!
